How do I apply for a summer associate position?

NP visits approximately 40 law schools, colleges and career fairs each recruiting season. Law students should check with their career services professionals for information regarding NP and our on-campus dates.

Due to time constraints, we are unable to visit all law schools and colleges, and we welcome law students to directly apply to NP by submitting a cover letter, resume, copy of transcript, and writing sample (10-20 pages) to the recruiting professional in the office(s) of interest for consideration for a summer associate position.

As a new associate, your responsibilities will go beyond research and document review. You will work on teams that include secretaries, professional specialists, paralegals, senior associates, and partners. It’s not uncommon for first-year associates to have client contact and to take a key role in a case or business transaction.
